VISION AND PRIORITIES
AFFORDABILITY/TAXES
We are living in a time when working people are doing everything right — and are still falling behind.
People are juggling two and three jobs. Small business owners are drowning in taxes, tolls, licensing fees, and hidden government fees and expenses.
Politicians are not listening to our concerns, instead putting their own pocketbooks and the needs of greedy corporations, special interest groups, and even foreign nations first -- ignoring the needs and the will of their constituents and the American public.
It is time for a change -- it is time to put Americans first.
Not only are household and family costs increasing but everyday Americans are being buried under federal, state, and local taxes, sales taxes, real estate and personal property taxes, tolls, and more government mandated expenses.
It is time for Congress to do its job. Time is critical.
We cannot afford to play politics as usual with corporate politicians.
FIGHTING GOVERNMENT CORRUPTION, FRAUD, AND WASTE
Congress must stand up for the American public and eliminate or reduce government corruption, fraud, and other wasteful spending.
Americans are working hard to keep food on the table and to make ends meet.
I intend to reduce financial burdens on the American public by reducing government waste and redistributing those funds to other necessary programs on which so many Americans need and rely.
We can no longer allow our government to steal from the tables of hardworking Americans to feed a system of corrupt, pocketbook-filling politicians who allow wasteful or fraudulent spending to continue year after year.
The government must be responsible for its own waste -- not the American people.
CRIME CONTROL/SELF SUFFICIENCY
Growing up in high-crime neighborhoods, I know the effects crime and violence have on children. No child deserves to live in fear.
We all deserve to live and thrive peacefully in a society free from crime.
I intend to increase funding to community programs to establish strong partnerships with Americans who want to create change and lead programs and incentives in their own communities.
Crime is not cool.
But nobody is coming to save us.
We can reduce poverty and crime by increasing funding to home-ownership- and entrepreneurship programs and incentives.
Join our movement, as we come together with our partners in law enforcement to keep our communities safe and free.
SOCIAL MEDIA AND INTERNET PRIVACY RIGHTS
Hundreds of years ago, our Framers understood the importance of free press and public discourse. We have a duty as Americans to maintain these fundamental principles as technology advances.
Our Constitution and our laws must work in all areas of American society, including on the internet.
Americans must be free to exercise their constitutional rights in all areas of American society.
The Congress has the power to regulate social media providers to afford Americans more rights and control over their social media accounts.
The Congress has the power to limit media monopolies and to reduce or limit viewpoint discrimination and propaganda in American media.
We must respect Americans' property rights in controlling their social media accounts to ensure no American is arbitrarily deprived of his income.
Social media has to be regulated, and we have to redirect power from billionaires back to the people.
PROTECTING MEDICAID, MEDICARE, AND SOCIAL SECURITY
Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security are essential programs for Americans.
We must increase Social Security benefits for our senior citizens and our disabled fellow-citizens who rely on our support.
As Americans, we must demand proper funding of Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security programs.
HEALTHCARE REFORM
We have to be honest the Affordable Care Act did not make healthcare any more affordable for Americans.
Prescription prices are still too high.
Insurance deductibles still climb year after year.
Americans are still struggling to afford coverage.
Seniors are choosing between their medication and groceries.
Healthcare costs are skyrocketing while people are getting sicker.
No longer will we be influenced by hashtags and slogans. No more polished politicians.
The days of timid reform are over. The time for real reform is now.
Join our movement.
